Words of thanks from our students ...

Dollars for Scholars Members,
I would like to take a moment to thank you, not only for your contribution to my education, but also for all of the time and dedication you put into making financing an education all the more possible. In these hard economic times it is amazing that you are able to raise so many funds, to help so many of us students pursue our goals. I will be studying journalism at Emerson College in the fall, and with the community behind me I know I will meet my dream of becoming a print journalist.
Thank you,
AC

Dear DFS,
Thank you . . . I am a BC High graduate and will continue my education at the University of Richmond. There I will study business and the Chinese language. This scholarship makes the education affordable for my family and I.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
JL

Dear DFS,
I would like to sincerely thank you for awarding me the Ernest A Moore scholarship. I will use the scholarship funds to help finance my education at Northeastern University, where I plan to major in Mathematics and Cinema Studies. In the future, my career goals are to become either a University professor, actor, screenwriter, or director.
Thanks again,
DM

Dear Dollars for Scholars,
I'm studying Baking and Pastry Arts and then Business Management at Johnson & Wales University. JWU is also a collegiate matching partner for DFS and will match my scholarship. Also, when I get to school I plan on starting a work study and an off-campus job. Thank you for this scholarship.
Sincerely,
LW

Dollars for Scholars,
Thank you for awarding me with the Dr. Donald F. McEnroe Memorial Scholarship. I will be attending Bates College in the fall, where I will major in chemistry. I plan to become a dentist in the future.
Thanks,

Dear Dollars for Scholars Scholarship Committee,
I wish to sincerely thank you for awarding me the Dollars for Scholars Scholarship. I will be attending Bridgewater State University in the fall of 2011 as a history major. I am extremely interested in the 19th century, as it was a century that shaped not only our country, but the entire continent of Europe as well. As a member of the Honor's community at Bridgewater, I will be writing a thesis before I graduate. I plan on focusing my thesis on this period in history. Since I have been awarded this scholarship, I will be able to spend more time focusing on my thesis, and less time laboring over college bills. I wish, once again, to thank you for granting me the honor of receiving this scholarship.
Sincerely,
SP
